THE CANVAS ROADSHOW – HAMMER AND STAIN EXPERIENCE

The Canvas Roadshow has been leading painters step by step since 2012 and began doing DIY workshops in 2015. Everyone can get creative in our wood workshops, canvas painting classes and sea glass art workshops. Our artists make it easy, social and super exciting. Come with your friends/family or on your own, everyone is always welcome. Join a public event or book a private party.

With Hammer & Stain, you take bare wood to finished piece of decor with our help. Everyone gets a personalized stencil for their project. You choose colors that work with your home to create an amazing custom piece to display proudly. Distressing is a fun part of our process, too! From home shutters that are four feet tall, rustic wood signs, winter sleds and centerpiece boxes, we are always coming up with new pieces you will want to come back to finish for your home.

Paint and sip events are step by step social painting classes with wine. As the first paint and sip business in Southern New Hampshire, The Canvas Roadshow has been entertaining painters since October of 2012. We are a locally, female, owned and operated business, so you can feel good about keeping your entertainment dollars in our community and state. We offer you a fun oasis to take a break from life, share a good time with friends and family and try something new. Explore your creative side with us!

You will want to arrive at our studio at the designated time on the calendar or a few minutes early. Check in, get your apron on and get to your seat. You will have time to buy wine, beer or snacks to enjoy during your class. The class will begin when everyone is ready. It’s okay to be a few minutes late but any more than fifteen minutes, please call. Our events/workshops last from two to three hours, on average. It varies based on the project and the people in the workshop/class!

Absolutely! Our events cater to every creative level and we welcome newbies from all backgrounds. Our artists have broken down each painting into simple and achievable steps for the most timid of painters.  You never know who has an inner Monet itching to get out! There is no pressure or rush at The Canvas Roadshow. With our DIY workshops, these, too, are step by step, again with our leaders taking you through the process and helping you along to completion!

Unless marked “Private” on the calendar, all of our events are open for you to join. Come with your friends, your significant other, a family member, or by yourself. Our events are social and fun so you might even make new friends! The Canvas Roadshow is the perfect mini escape from the demands of your life, your kids, or your job, and for less than the price of a pedicure, you leave with a lasting work of art to proudly display.

Absolutely! We do all types of celebrations: birthday parties, bridal showers, bachlorette parties – any reason is a good one! There is a minimum guest requirement based on the day of the week and time of day. We sell wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks to make your life easier. Absolutely, this is one of our specialties! We do team building events and can get quite creative on how to put this together in our studio or off site. It’s a great way to get coworkers together, let the guard down and share a fun experience. It helps them like coming to work more! Complete our event request form to get started.

Children’s birthday parties are a blast at The Canvas Roadshow. Always a private event, we work with our younger painters to choose the painting they’d like each party guest to complete, in a step by step, fun process! Our children’s parties are $25 per painter (canvas) and includes all the materials: paint, brushes, an apron, easel, and professional instruction. You may bring in pizza, cake or cupcakes.  Complete our event request form to get started.

We partner with a lot of causes to help raise money for our community. As a locally owned business, this is very important to us. We mostly do fundraisers on in the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or in the afternoon on Sundays. Complete our event request form to get started.
